Played on a Sunday afternoon. It was very crowded. Had fivesome and a foursome in front of me that we’re both very slow.
The Fairways were very firm and there were a lot of bare spots with no grass in many parts. The greens are very nice but firm.

Overall, I enjoy playing Cypress Lakes. However, this time around, the greens were really in poor shape. Some of the greens were just a mixture of some grass and sand. Also, there are a couple of different varieties of grass growing on the greens. Putting was extremely difficult.

I do enjoy the course layout and understand with the new sprinkler system being installed, it may be sometime before the course gets up to respectable condition. However, at this time, the course is somewhat unplayable.

The staff was very accommodating on tee times. Course condition was good..Only issue with the layout is that the houses are very close to the course, but the fairways are pretty generous. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it again.

Slow greens and fairways needed to be cut. Pace of play was good after passing a couple of groups.
Overall a good experience.
