Course in good shape. Marshal wasnt active. Pace was awful. Too expensive for a 5 hour round.

Fun, short track in good shape.

This is not a long course. If you’re looking for a target course in good shape, this will check the boxes. Greens and bunkers in good shape. Fairways and tee boxes as well. Not a lot of rough. If you miss the fairways you’re in trees or someone’s yard.

Greens were in rough shape

I like this course, it’s a fun layout. A few short par 4s, two tough par 5s and three really good par 3s. BUT the greens are not in good shape at all, large dead spots on almost every green. More expensive than Scott Schreiner in Kerrville and definitely not as good. Overall this course isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either. It’ll check the boxes for a fun round but course snobs won’t be happy.

Pretty North Dallas course

Like so many Texas courses, the summer heat and lack of rain has not been friendly to Stone Creek. A few greens were under repair and a few others were in need of attention. I'd rate these greens at about 4.5/10. Fairways and tee boxes were OK. The Challenging and interesting layout was my favorite aspect of this course. A few blind tee shots made the course more difficult and more fun (at least for me). Birdies are there for the taking but a few tight fairways place a premium on accuracy.

Not a Country Club, but not rinky dink either. Nice Hill Country Course

Played in September 2013 but have played many times. Layout is pretty cool: nice mixture of target golf and bombs away from the tee. A few greens were under repair and a few others were in need of attention; overall I'd rate these greens at 3-4/10. Missing the fairway often leads to a rocky lie, which is sometimes intentional as there is no shortage of waste areas. Two long par 5s and two reachable par 5s, with a very nice mixture of par 4s mean you will likely hit all the clubs in the bag if you play it right. It's a great course for the money, especially if you find a Hot Deal. Fall and early Winter is the time to play this course.

Decent course but not worth the price

There is a lot room on this course, premium on length. Greens are pretty slow. Recycled water means lush fairways and rough. Not a terrible track and there are some cool holes but you can do better in the area. I'd recommend Scott Schreiner and Ladybird Johnson before this course.
