My friends and I would regularly call this our home course because the great price for the course and it being close to home. Last year we noticed the greens and fairways grasses dying, and I chalked it up to the drought that California has been going through. However, yesterday we showed up to find the main driving range had been sold and is currently under construction of a giant warehouse. The courses lakes are more than half empty, and a lot of the course has not been kept up. This use to be my favorite course in the area and I’d tell everyone about it, now I would suggest to look elsewhere because I don’t think it’ll be here much longer. It’s a shame.

Could be better

Course was a good value and I thought it was cool that they had 3 different 9 hole options. My friend said his favorites were MOUNTAIN and LAKE, although he didn't like VALLEY at all. We unfortunately were sent on VALLEY first and I could tell why he didn't care for it. VALLEY was over grown with weeds everywhere. I'm not a great golfer but I'm not horrible either, and due to the over grown edges of the course I lost 12 balls in 9 holes. Whereas on the LAKE course I didn't lose a single ball. It seemed a lot cleaner and more maintained. We didn't get a chance to play MOUNTAIN due to a tournament that slowed down the day drastically, but other than that it was a fun day. I would recommend Moreno Valley Ranch for the value, LAKE course, and the supposed favored MOUNTAIN course. I will return to give it another shot.
