Be warned - if you want to play early you’re going to have staff on every hole watering the greens, mowing the lawns, etc. I like to play early and this has happened to me every time I’ve played The Bridges- on every hole.
Start tending to the greens earlier if you offer a 6:40 tee time.

The course isn’t in the best shape, but the layout brings me back. Forced carries, island green (ish) beautiful creeks running through. Every hole is unique and none are plain.

Not what I expected. My first time here - what s beautiful piece of land in East Plano. Many forced carries, deep ravines and rock walls. With some work this could be one of the best courses in the area.

This is my new favorite course. I can usually book the earliest tee time and be alone on the course and done in 2 1/2 hours.
Only issue I have is that for some reason I always seem to have a maintenance guy following me around , and unfortunately talking loudly on his cellphone yesterday.
Still recommend the Bridges.

Well worth the drive to Gunter. I booked a 7 am tee time on Wednesday and had the course to myself! Love the layout - some tough but fair holes, and some easier holes to keep the round enjoyable. Recommend 100%
