Boulder Creek Golf Club - Coyote Run/Eldorado Valley

Good solid test of golf.
Greens in excellent shape.
Fairways are green, the rough is dormant brown.
Hole layouts include arroyos. Make sure you know where these dry washes are before you swing.
Bunkers have plenty of sand.
Nice clubhouse.
Restaurant serves a good lunch.
Laughlin Ranch Golf Club

Greens and fairways in excellent shape for late winter.
Bunkers have no sand, just rocks and hardpan. Play it as an unplayable lie.
15 handicappers should play the silver tees. While shorter, it's still a challenge.
Restaurant staff is friendly, food is good.
Nice clubhouse.

Golf course is in excellent condition.
Green fairways and rough.
No negatives about the course; an enjoyable day of golf.
Clubhouse isn't fancy, just a couple of trailers. It was nice to sit outside and have a beverage after the round.

Played on Jan 30, 2017 with a golf trip.
Course is in rough shape.
The greens are watered, everything else is dry.
Fairways are brown, everything is dormant.
Bunkers need work.
The restaurant was fine. Pass on everything else.
Not many people playing the course this day, so the locals know it's not worth the money.
