Good quick round

It's getting hot in the summer and it's starting to show. A couple of the greens were beat dead others were in perfect shape and overall course is just fine. I see a lot of comments mentioning that it's not easy for an executive course. Well by pro standards par 3s are typically the most difficult holes to birdie so there you go. I'm a newbie (high handicap) and I feel like this course takes me to the cleaners. It's great fun and really forces you to play your irons tight. I played it in just under 2 hours and that included a 20 minute break in the clubhouse to cool off.

Play this course if you can get a good deal

This course is currently in pretty rough shape, but don't let other reviews discourage you. If you can find a rate under 15 bucks in the morning I recommend giving it a shot. I played the front 9 this morning and it wasnt too bad. Alot of dead grass/bare dirt spots in the fairway, but the greens were ok.

Best course to play in summertime

The options are limited in the summertime in the desert becauses it's simply too hot to play. This course is n the high desert so it's 10-15 degrees cooler than palm springs. The course is fun as always but beware they tend to overwater the course and there are several spots of mucky water-soaked fairway, leading to a mud flinging divot.

Great executive course, but a few flaws, likely seasonal

Great course but most of the bunkers are like wet cement. The greens were also slightly overgrown. Maybe they didn't mow them for a day or 2. These are probably just seasonal problems since it's hot and theres not a lot of players. Besides that it's still a good time and the course is challenging. I say if you got the ball in the bunker just take free relief, it's that bad.

Very fun, quick par 3 course

this was my second time playing this course. I'm a newbie with around a 32 handicap. The course is the best maintained I have played yet. I got a hot deal for $12, probably because the temps are reaching over 100 now. There are plenty of trees to park under and get shade, and the course is super fun to play. I played a solo round in just under 2 hours. For the price, you probably can't find a better place to play in the Coachella valley. Highly recommend to anyone at any skill level.

Like a walk in the park...

I'll start by saying I'm a beginner and have been playing for 4 months. The last 6 rounds I played an average of 32 over par. This course made me work for every shot and is without a doubt the most difficult course I have played yet. There are alot of hills and if you miss the fairway you will find yourself shooting blind over a hill. The hazards are fair on some holes and very unforgiving on others, especially on hole 17. Overall, it was a very demanding yet exciting course. I ended up with a 112 (40 over) and I do not plan on coming back until I have inproved my game.

Well kept

This is a well kept course. I have played here 3 times now in the past month. Getting the "hot deal" for 15 bucks. Well worth it. Only the back 9 are open and they were aireating today but no problem. It's kind of nice playing the same holes twice as you can challenge yourself. Unfortunately it's starting to really get hot out here and today was a scorcher (110 degree) and the only real complaint I have is that there are little to no trees that provide shade around the cart paths. I do not recommend playing this course if it is over 105 degrees. No fault to the course, just the heat is unbearable, caused me to lose focus several times.
