The Legends at Orange Lake Resort
Played On 02/27/2020Not a good one time course, tiny tiny tiny greens
If you’re visiting the area looking to play golf, this is not a good “only play once” course. There are so many hidden ponds that even when you hit an incredible shot, you’ll likely walk over the fairway mounds and find you’re all wet.
Now, if you’re staying local and plan on playing a few times, then it might be worth it.
The other downside is the postage stamp size greens. I mean, I’m on vacation! I like a little larger greens and something I can actually hit. I’m an 8 hdcp and I must have putted 8 times from just off the greens. Very frustrating to have a great approach shot turned into anger.
Just my thoughts.
Dragon's Fire Golf Club

When you finish the first hole and find 2 groups ahead of you waiting on the second tee, you know you're in for a long day. This is a tight course, and if you're going to struggle to shoot 95, don't play here. That's why it's so slow, and this is what's killing golf right now.
I finished 9 holes in 2h 45min, and quit. Never ever going back.
Cardinal Lakes Golf Club - Sparrow Course

Greens were very good, course is very short and great for beginners. No really memorable signature holes, no "wow" factor, but great value.
