Ravensworth Golf Club
Played On 11/04/2020The course was very wet, interesting but a bit hilly.
The lady in the pro shop was ever so helpful and explaining the course situation.
The course was extremely wet and the greens were exceptionally spongy and bobbly from players footprints. Drainage works were ongoing on the course which can only be good news for the future. The holes were all interesting with some tough par 4s. The course was quite hilly, Not sure whether We would go back and play it in the dry but we did at least enjoy the experience of playing a different course.
Sedbergh Golf Club
Played On 10/20/2020Amazing gem of a golf course - don’t miss the opportunity to play it if in the area.
The course was in amazing condition considering the recent wet period and the deluge the night before. The drainage is superb. The extra hole making it a 10-hole course and some subtle tee changes on the back 9 almost give it an 18-hole feel. Greens were excellent and the river and other subtle little features add interest to the views and challenge. Highly recommended and a credit to the owner.
Alnmouth Golf Club
Played On 03/19/2020Excellent condition for time of year.
Had a thoroughly enjoyable game today with my wife despite Coronavirus fears. Course was fairly dry with fairways and greens cut very short. Tees off at 12 noon and were round in well under 3 hours. We love this course and never miss a sensible opportunity to play it. Sadly we felt it appropriate to give the clubhouse a miss today.
