Please pass along to your management....we are visiting from Colorado this week and chose University Park Golf Course to play 9 holes with our (local) family, based on proximity to our rental in Grand Haven. We were having a great time golfing today with our family until a member of your staff (dressed in yoga pants and a ratty sweatshirt) approached us after hole #9 telling us in a very condescending tone that she'd appreciate it if we hurried up unloading our carts. We were all a bit stunned at her rudeness.

When we arrived (1 min later) she again approached us in front of other customers and chastised us and asking what time our tee time was. I time her it was at 1:44 and 1:52. She wanted to know when we actually teed off and asked why it took us so long to finish our 9 holes because they usually ask that it only take 2.5 hours and we took longer than that.

First let me say, she embarrassed our whole family with her public interrogation. Secondly, I told her that it was pouring rain and thundering for the first hour after we started and we waited it out on the course. Thirdly, not only were we THE ONLY GOLFERS on the course for the first (at least) 1.5 hours, we were NEVER given a time limit.

Never have we experienced such rude and inappropriate behavior from a golf course staff member. You have lost us as future customers this week and we will be sure to tell others of our experience.
