Nice layout, had its challenges. Fairways still suffering a bit from the heat of the summer, which caused cracking, but this is improving and didn’t really cause a problem.
Wheathill Golf Club - Main Course

We enjoyed playing this course very much, it is does not have steep hills. The fairways were suffering from the dry conditions with wide cracks throughout the course. The water hazards were also dry. These conditions are not limited to the course as the rest of Somerset is also suffering from the dry conditions.
Wells Golf Club

Beautifully landscaped mature golf course. Conditions were a little damp underfoot and fairway grass in need of cutting. Steep hills up and down between greens and tee boxes. Recommend a buggy if walking uphill or downhill I.S a problem. Greens beautifully cut and maintained with interesting lines.
Long Sutton Golf Club

Long Sutton golf course is definately long, at least the way I played it. Some tricky fairways with water on both sides. Very enjoyable.
We played at long Sutton on 03/06/17, the course was in amazing condition, greens were immaculate, all players and staff we met were very friendly, and for a Friday the pace of play was Fantastic.
I usually prefer to travel to different courses, but long Sutton is one I will definitely return to as soon as I can.
