Having looked (and played a round or two) at the other private clubs in Flagstaff, my wife and I landed on Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club and became Members recently.

Now, having played 1/2 dozen rounds and meeting many other members and most of the Staff, I write this from a fully objective position.

Proof that my comments below are all factual without any bias, you'll have to make the leap of faith and come to play the course.

Without question, the number one reason we joined was the 'fun factor' and 'memorable layout' of the golf course. All the holes seem to have their own personality and intrigue. Besides the excellent condition of tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and smooth fast greens, the elevation changes are dramatic with some amazing views.

Secondly, of all the other courses we played in consideration for joining a club, Flagstaff Ranch had the friendliness and most accommodating Staff. The clubhouse and golf shop personnel always seem eager to make sure you're comfortable and happy.

And last but not least - the Members we've met showed friendliness and seemed 'laid back and easy going' in comparison to others.
