Brown's Run Country Club
Played On 09/24/2019Nice course, Not worth 50 bucks
Played this course for the first time and it was a fun and nice course to play but I don't think it's a 50 dollar a round type of course. There are other courses in the area that I can play that are just as nice for less money. If it were priced at the 38-40 dollar per round then I believe it would attract a lot more golfers including the group I play with weekly. Hopefully management will consider a price change and I'll be back.
Tanglewood Golf Course
Played On 06/10/2017Horrible
Here on a stay and play and will never come back. This course is absolutely horrible. Tilted fairways that you can't hold a shot and also overran with cover and many bare spots. The greens are small and won't hold a shot as well. The food in the clubhouse is not really good. Complete mistake coming here and a waste of money. Look elsewhere, you'll be glad you did!
Vista Verde Golf Club
Played On 10/04/2014Cow Pasture
If you like playing in a cow pasture then this is the course for you. Tee boxes are horrible, weeds are all over the fairways and stupid foot golf holes are everywhere. It's apparent that ownership doesn't care and if you compare their rates to other courses in the area that are much better, their rates are way out of line for what they have to offer. This course shouldn't charge more than a dollar a hole to play. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere until ownership gets it together.
We here at Tanglewood are sorry to hear your views of the course. I do not believe it is an accurate assessment of our course. I see the date of this was posted during our Club Championship weekend, and after reading other reviews, I can honestly say that our course is in the best shape it has ever been in. The greens roll true, and our fairways and rough are grown in. Our course is hilly and does require well placed shots to score.
I do apologize you did not enjoy your stay. I believe we will have to agree to disagree on the course conditions.
Thank you,
Ben McCormick
