Ballyhack is a wonderful golf club. The course layout is tough but fair. It’s definitely a second shot golf course. The conditions were fantastic even with substantial rain the day before. However it is not a “walkers” course. It is definitely a must play in Roanoke.

One of my favorite courses around the country. Many great Dye design elements with stunning views and unique holes. The course conditions have been struggling but with a new super should be turning around.

The Pines is a well maintained golf course in Morgantown, WV. The course conditions are very good including lightning quick greens. I enjoy playing there when I’m in town. Not a ton of memorable holes but a solid track.

BCC is a great parkland style golf course with some very good holes. I liked the elevation changes and the course conditions are always great. Some tricked up greens from settling but have since been fixed with the recent renovation. Definitely play if you’re in town.
