Black Creek is always a fun layout. Great staff and decent course conditions. Pace of play was slow. We got stuck behind a 4some that was slowing everything down. They were 3/4 holes behind the group in front of them. We waited in the fairway for them to clear the green only to finish the hole and watch them leave the tee box as we approached the next hole. It would be good to have a marshal assisting with pace of play. With the expected growth in the area, it’s only going to get busier out there.

The grass in the rough in some areas was extremely thick. The grounds crew was out mowing most of the morning. The greens and tee boxes were solid. Beverage Cart was out and about.

A couple of the greens and fairways need some work. Overall a good course for the money.

Beware all of the tee boxes were saturated with water. They must have overseeded. There was no warning. Otherwise it was a decent round.

The overall conditions of the course have greatly improved since playing there a few months ago. There are still some patchy spots on the greens but they are a great improvement. Keep going in the right direction.

I wish they had the course flagged to let us know that they recently top dressed the greens. There was heavy sand on most of the greens on the front 9. The fairways and tee boxes are in good shape.

Great round for the value. Greens and tee boxes are in decent shape. Fairways were nicely cut. Bunkers need a little TLC, but they are playable. Overall a good round for the $$ spent

A few bunkers were in need of repair or under repair. Some fairways were beginning to be overtaken by clover weeds.

Hole #1 is under repair, holes #7 and. #10 were cart path only. Greens were in good shape, overall good round.

The course isn’t very long, but it’s challenging. Fairways and tee boxes could use a mowing. Greens were in good shape.

I booked OCN due to it being discounted on GN. The staff said it was because the course wasn't in prestine condition. As the round went on I looked for flaws, their flaws were typical course conditions for other courses in the area. Minor burns on the fairways and tee boxes didn't affect play. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. The humidity in Central Florida in July is no joke, the cart girl made frequent runs and the best part at the end of the round the staff greeted you with a needed cool towel that was very refreshing. I will definitely be playing OCN whenever I'm in the area.

We booked this course strictly for the value. The previous reviews are pretty accurate. There seems to be water on every hole on the front 9. On the back, where there isn't water, you're shaping your shot between or over trees. The fairways, bunkers and tee boxes leave a lot to be desired. For the right price, I would play this course again.

I've never seen the greens look as good as they did on yesterday. Whatever y'all are doing, keep it up. Great price, great layout, great value for your money...

This course has clearly fell on very hard times. There's grass growing in several of the bunkers. The tee boxes have little to no grass. Its hard to tell the difference from the fairway and roughs. The greens are spotty, unreadable and don't hold a shot. This was once a jewel of a course, now its probably Savannah's worst 18 hole track.

This course was once upon a time one of the better courses in the Savannah area. Now it's weeds weeds weeds everywhere. Grass growing in a number of bunkers, hard dry patchy fairways and greens. Tee boxes were more like sand boxes. It's sad to see what this course has become. This is the worst 18 holes in Savannah.

We played Santee National on New Year's day, the drive up from Savannah was well worth it. The course was in pretty good condition, greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in great shape. I will definitely be making the trip up I-95 to play this course again.
