Mystic Dunes Golf Club
Played On 09/27/2023Course Redone
Just finished complete course renovations. Restaurant and pro shop also upgraded
Greens are 100 percent better than before.
Tee boxes are good, still growing in.
Fairways are about 90 percent. Recent rain and cooler temps will have them great in a couple of weeks.
If you played this course before, come and check the improvements now.
Practice greens were redone, along with driving range.

Good golf, not much water. Lots of sand traps and bunkers. Greens fast, and cups were placed on slopes. “Hilly” for a course compared to Orlando courses. Felt like a Northern State course. Rough was extremely high and weedy-should have been cut. No GPS Or USB Ports on carts. Nice practice areas. Great perk was free course guide book at counter.. comment the course can’t control-
FILL your divots, fix ball marks. Worst I have ever seen on a course.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Eagle Dunes Golf Club.

First- course is great. USB outlets work on carts, GPS attached, club and ball washer on carts. Plenty of sand on cart. ( just wish more golfers would use it). Greens were in great shape. Fairways were mowed, rough was cut at a good length.- a little soggy, and many cart path only holes-but it’s rainy season.
SECOND PART. The pro shop guy was a jerk!I knew it was going to rain- so I asked him if they gave vouchers if I didn’t get nine in. He said since I was a GOLFNOW person, NO. Then he wouldn’t let me tee off till 10:30-which was my tee time, and it was 10:15-BUT NO ONE WAS THERE!!!!
By 10:30, a 3 some and 2 singles got in line. They had later tee times but were now GOLFNOW SCUM. I ended up heading to hole 10- checked hole 9-no one in sight. THE RANGER (who was very apologetic) said his boss said I had to start on Hole 1! Ended up skipping 3 and 4 to get ahead of the other groups.

Still soaked from the rain, a few dry days should fix it. Everything is green, rough high, sand traps unusable. What you would expect with this weather.

The course went from dry to really wet in a couple of weeks. The rain has been heavy, greens are nice-but slow-as expected. Fairways are green, and really soggy. No roll and if you hit a high drive , good chance it will plug.. layout is nice as always, good pace but no cart beverages. Staff is always nice and wildlife is there to see..

First time playing course. NO GPS, pro shop was out of water.. no ball washers on cart or at tee boxes.. saw cart girl in front nine, but not back. Very confusing layout- had people ask us where next hole was, we searched about 5 minutes after finishing hole to find next one. Conditions were wet, no big deal , BUT 2 holes had a swamp in the middle of the fairway-that you couldn’t see. Hit my best drive of the day right into one! Tee boxes were ok, fairly weedy, but you tee up anyway. The course has more moguls than an Olympic ski course. Blind shots that ended up on a downslope or upslope. Rakes were hit and miss in the traps- and you couldn’t see them from where you hit. (Fairway and some green side) greens were good,, but because fairways were so hilly, greens should have been sloped to make you read breaks-mostly straight flat. For the money, not worth the drive.

They definitely need GPS on carts. First time playing, and lost balls on good drives- there was water where you couldn’t see from tee box. Thought it was perfect, but when you got over the small hill- a water hazard appeared, will know better next time. There is a course layout on back of scorecard, but it has all 18 holes on a half page. Heard the restrooms are nice, but they had a code to enter, and it wasn’t anywhere on the scorecard or cart. Rates were reasonable. Greens in good shape. Tee boxes were dried out-rainy season will help. Check when course aeration is happening- that will be good to know before spending money.. I haven’t golfed in two years since heart troubles, but this will be a course back in the rotation.

Course is confusing. Had to ask people on other greens where next hole was. Had golfers ask us where next hole was.
NO GPS on carts.
2 fairways had swamps/ ponds in middle of tee shot landing area.
Rakes were hit or miss at sand traps.
Tee boxes were generally nice.
Greens were slow-and golfers weren’t fixing ball marks on greens!
No ball/club washers on course or carts-and course muddy due to rain.
Clubhouse was members only, so no sitting or eating inside .
Better courses and prices in area, won’t be returning.

Was a good course- not great. Many reviews list weeds on greens as a problem. I expected the worst-but if those weeds affected your putting, you need a different sport. They were only darker green spots on the greens-they ran true- when you put badly, don’t blame the grass! Sand traps were raked in the morning, no rakes at traps, none on carts. Couple of tee boxes were a little bare- rainy season will help. Good pace of play. Excellent carts- USB charger port on cart for my GPS. Staff was friendly and chatty. Best rates in Kissimmee area.

Good course, no waiting- GPS on carts. No weeds in sand traps, greens in great shape, fairways good- many divots not sanded by players was sad to see.

Most reviews call it a "practice course", but unless you shoot under par you are not practicing! Course runs amongst a campground, a little narrow and not much water. Greens in good shape. Sand traps were all raked and no weeds. Plenty of sand boxes on tees to refill divots. Pace was excellent- never had to wait to tee off. There actually was a ranger driving around, which I rarely see on other courses. No cart girl! The one bad thing- don't know if they ever have one on weekends.
Nice course and fun to play.

Easy parking- you can take cart to your car! Newer carts, with club cleaner and ball washer on cart. Over seeded conditions. Over watered.

The course was in good shape! Greens excellent. Rough dry due to lack of rain. Cart girl was by 4 times.
Pace was very slow, groups in front playing from tees too long for them! Always in woods looking for their balls!

Have played course before, must have money problems. Sand traps had weeds, fairway was difficult to tell from rough. greens had "ball pits" not ball marks. Electric golf cart died at end of hole one, the cart guy told us they had 23 carts down, and not getting fixed. Sand traps had no rakes. Very disappointed in course management, used to be a gem of a course.

Booked 2 on-line, had to have the kids ride along, wife called in to work. the ride along fee was high, $19.00, only paid $22.00 to golf. good conditions, well maintained.
Wildwood Country Club
Played On 8/25/2013Neglected
Course best described as a cow pasture.
Every green is sand, they are in process of re-seeding.
That does not explain the terrible fairways, weeds and dead patches.
Rough is same as fairways, you could not tell the fairways from roughs on most holes.
Better to wait to play till course repairs completed.
Good thing was there was no backups, lot had 4 cars in it.
Thank you for your review and for acknowledging the recent upgrades to our golf course, including the renovated greens, restaurant, and pro shop. We apologize if there are still some areas that are not yet fully grown in, but we assure you that with recent rain and cooler temperatures, they will be in great shape in a couple of weeks. We appreciate your feedback and hope you come and enjoy the improvements soon.
