Teed off at 7:15 and was done by 9:15 so I can’t complain about pace at play, at all. The only downside (this is at most courses) is the maintence crew. They do a fantastic job keeping this place in immaculate shape but they are everywhere and are always in your way. Multiple times I was teeing off and they act like you’re not there, and now you have to step back and wait for them to clear. During this round, the guy changing the pins acted like I wasn’t even there. On two holes he went to change the hole when I was driving up to my approach, and on a par 3 forgot to put the hole and flag back in forcing me to drive up to the green to find where the pin was (water all around so I didn’t want to hit too much of a club) and then I had to putt into a dirt hole. Not all of the guys are bad but still, if I wasn’t a usual there, I’d be angry. Other than that, I love it there and both courses are perfect. A must visit if you are in the area

First of all, the course is in phenomenal shape, especially with the amount of play both tournaments and regular use the course has seen. I would easily give it 5 stars BUT for a 7:13 tee time I was disappointed. On every single hole, we had a group of people (3 carts) following us and setting up for a junior golf tournament. They were on the tee box, the fairways and green. We had to wait on shots for them to clear off and had them waiting on the first cut or 5 yards off the green as we hit tee shots and approaches. They should have a) went out before the first tee time at 7:05, b) closed the course after 4 to set up or c) even started off the back 9. For spending 60+, I shouldn’t have to wait to take a shot unless it’s the group in front of me. My group and I never got into a solid rhythm because we had to wait while they set up on every hole even though we were the second group to tee off for the day and had only a twosome in front of us. It’s bad enough to deal with the maintenance workers on every hole, but setting up for a tournament (that’s not even for that day) while people are trying to play is annoying, especially when you have to deal with it on every single hole.

Noticed the tee time sheet was wide open so I decided to go out and get 18 in. When I play by myself, I tend to finish under 2 hours with no delays. Ran into a foursome on number 5 (played the first 4 holes in 20 minutes) and I was on their butt the next 3 and they wouldn't let me play through. Ranger pulls up and asks if I'm doing okay, and if I'd like to play through. Decided not to, since the foursome was only playing 9 and then back nine is suppose to be wide open. Got to number 10 to find another foursome in the fairway. Ranger met me on number 10 green and then made sure the geoup in front of me let me play through. Excellent job by the ranger doing his job. Without him, I'd probably still be playing with how slow they were. Golf etiquette is dying, let people play through if you have an open hole.
Only reason for the 4 star course conditions is that the greens were running a little slow. Probably a 7 or 8
