Had a great time revisiting an older Las Vegas layout. Overall the course itself was in fantastic shape, and being the first time off in the morning lent itself to a rathe enjoyable pace of place with no one in sight (we didn’t rush either). Everyone we encountered was friendly and it has made me want to put this course back into my weekly rotation. Keep up the good work PD…see you again soon!

It had been awhile since I’ve played The Legacy, and unfortunately it looks as if it will probably be a while longer before I return. The course conditions are a serious downgrade from where this course once was. I remember this place hosting us open qualifiers, and being one of the best tracks in the area. Now you have a course that has lost the majority of their green surfaces and have basically let the grounds go in general. Tee boxes would have been better utilizing nice mats rather than the dirt they were using. If cost is your only consideration, you may find the afternoon fees to be of value, but I seriously hope the management team can find a way to get this place back in shape and finally revive this once majestic track. Instead of cut throat rates, I’m sure many would rather pay a few more dollars to play it in all its glory, than to scrape it around such a nice layout in such poor condition. City of Henderson…if you’re listening, you deserve a better representation of what a city owned golf course can be.

Decent layout, although not in very good shape. Tee to green was disappointing and the greens were not much better.

There’s nothing really overwhelming or particularly underwhelming about the property…again, it’s a place to play. The track itself is decent, but conditions were much rougher than we were led to believe. The only thing over-seeded were tee-boxes and greens/collars. All rough, and fairways were completely dormant. Every bunker has rocks in it that people seem to splash out on to the green with regularity. Makes cleaning your putting line essential and also quite repetitive. Rude cart staff this time around answered the question that I always ask myself which is why don’t I play out here very often.

Every bunker on the course is ground under repair. They had no sand and seed for golf carts, and I’m a turf taker…I need sand and seed!…lol

With that said, this is a great layout. Apparently they’ve recently had a change of guard at the greens keeper position, so there were quite a few rough spots out there, but not bad at all. Very playable, wide fairways, greens were soft but putted true. All in all, if you manage your expectations, it’s a great value for the money. Very appropriately priced for the work they are doing.

The course was what was expected. Nothing more nothing less. Tee to green was in fantastic shape, with only a few greens on the front nine that had a bit of dried up patchiness to them. But what do you expect when it’s over 100 degrees in the Vegas Valley. Overall, it was an enjoyable day, and summer rates ought to make this a must play.

The pace of play was a little slow, but the course was in good shape and that’s a big factor in value. Would definitely play again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Always a great time at Coyote Springs. The golf course is a real hidden gem. Not too far from Vegas, but we’ll worth the drive. Course conditions were excellent as was the staff. Excellent experience.

Played here many times. Always been. Nice course, and although I enjoy the layout very much, this was the worst conditioned I have ever seen the course.

I've played this course in years past, and it was a much better track. Of course the layout hasn't changed, but the last few times playing the course, the conditions were abysmal. Seeing how Florida has had no winter to speak of this year, I find it unacceptable, especially when I go play another track in the area and it is in immaculate condition. The pace of play was ridiculous, for the the track not being overly difficult. Not once did we see a marshall and two groups in front of us, was a foursome that was mostly two holes behind all day. The beverage service on the course was provided without any type of personality..now I don't need small talk, but at least a smile would go a long way. The starter was confused, and could not remember anything from one minute to the next and asked me no less than 5 times who I was, and my tee-time. I think it's safe to say I have given up hope on this course until it can be restored to it's formal glory. Management needs to understand, you don't get anywhere by cutting back service and charging a lower rate because you think it's a fair price. You maintain exceptional conditions, and service standards, and eventually, you can raise your prices, because it's more of a value if the guest enjoys themselves, and is willing to comeback....REPUTATION IS EVERYTHING!!
