Long Way To Go

Played this course after hearing new management took over. New Carts are a plus and the course is starting to get cleaned up which is promising. With that said...it has a long way to go and hope it turns it around. However there are things that troubling.
Either golfers playing this course sorely lack etiquette or the club's maintenance is neglectful. More pock marks and divots in any green I've seen. Your ball bounces and hops to the hole on 14/18 greens. Sand traps under maintenance but no raking? Tee boxes were horrendous but could be end of the season.
Club let a 3-4 Foursomes go out and play a scramble...yet the guys are playing their own balls? (talked to the guys who said they were playing a scramble). Longest round of golf maybe I've played (5.5 hours). No Rangers enforcement here. If the club caters to 15-20 people, not promising for integrating with locals. Facilities pretty beat up but ownership could turn that around quickly.
Played Sat & Sun there as I booked late. $40/round thru Golf now $25 for a cart on Sat. $40/round direct and $15 for a cart. I asked why they charged me $25 yesterday, guy says that's the way it is...Not a great way to try to drum up public interest.
Overall, not worth the time/cash in current state.
