Start with the positive. Greens are good not great but good. That’s it. This course has gone way down hill. The conditions of the fairways tee boxes and bunkers are terrible. The rough is a mix of bare spots and weeds. They threw out two foursomes and a single walking in front of us. Just pay the extra money and go somewhere else. If you are even somewhat of a golfer you will not Enjoy this course. I’m not a golf snob and I’ve played on allot of tough condition courses It I really did not enjoy anything about this course. The starter was a great guy but nothing can makeup for the course. Truss spend the money and go to a better course.

New renovations have made the conditions much better. Rack rate of $95 is way to much for the course. Greens excellent.

This course has so much potential. It was bought by the locals after closing during the recession. They work very hard trying to improve and maintain this place. It has a great layout. Yes it does need work in certain areas but it is very playable. I play this course about once to twice a week when I’m southern GA. It is a ride but if you’re playing golf for the day it’s worth the trip. All this course needs is a little more public support to get players out there. Again great layout best collection of par 3a around and greens usually pretty good.

Course has good layout. Conditions improving. Greens very slow and grainy. New owner brings a lot of hope. Could be a real gem.

Course has good layout. Staff was excellent. Course is in rough shape. If not for staff would have been a wasted day. If the course was in better shape it's worth the ride.

This course is in terrible shape. The fairways are thin and it always is wet. Expect Carts On Path only any time you play. The greens were ok but not good. This course needs to be closed and worked on for about a year. It is too bad because the layout is very good. It just needs an incredible amount of work in drainage and fairway reseeding. They continue to push people on the course which is just making it worse. Again with the right amount of work this could be a very good course.

This course has a great layout. Unfortunately the course is in terrible shape. They have managed to keep the greens in good condition. With a little effort and a whole lot of money this could be a gem. The ninth hole has a 250 yard carry to the fairway and is a fun hole. There are several really good holes on this course and the par threes are tough. If you have time to kill and can get a good price it would be worth the trip. Personnel at the course were fantastic!

Greens were in great shape. It was very cold and windy the day we played so playing the tips was not a good idea. For "winter golf" the course was in very good condition. Par three holes were interesting.

I have played this course on several occasions when I get to the St Simons area. This course is always in great shape and the staff actually remembered me from eight months ago. This is one of the most unique courses in the area. Greens run true and the course plays so much longer than the yardage indicates. Played in the winter season and the grounds were still impressive. Cudos to the greenskeeper and their staff,

This course is a bear from the tips. Replace your long irons with longer hybrids. Green were fantastic. Middle of winter so the fairways were rough in some spots. Bunkers need work but could be from the time of year. This course has the best collection of par three holes of almost any I have ever played. If you pick the right tees it can be an enjoyable round. If you get suckered into the back tees it will eat you up. Definitely worth the ride to play this course. I will definitely be back.
