Overpriced.

$70 for a green fee is simply too much. It's an okay track, some cool holes but nothing to write home about, lots of gimmicky holes and too many doglegs. Course was in rough shape when we played, and it was reminiscent of courses that cost $40. There were tons of barren areas, greens were very poor and inconsistent, lots of burnt grass and overall rough around the edges. The staff however were awesome, we arived a few minutes late for our time and they managed to fit us in 20 minutes later no problem. The course marshall was very friendly and kepy us updated on a slow group ahead. We waited on a few tees but managed to play in just over 4 hours on a long weekend - not bad. I would only play here again if I knew it would be in much better shape.

Solid little 9 hole

I play this track a few times per year and always enjoy it. Driving range is my favourite one because of the super tall pines, although the greens are not real grass and you can only hit off of old mats. Good enough for a few warm up balls and drivers echo very loud. You can tell the course is a Stanley Thompson right from the first hole, even though they have removed most hazards and considerably widened the holes. The layout is very enjoyable, holes #4, #6 and #8 are my favourites. The course is never in fantastic condition and the greens don't roll very well, but are playable. The staff is generally friendly however there is not much going on for a clubhouse. I like the value of the course and the way it is thoughtfully carved through the forest, nothing special, just great for a quick round.

tough but not impossible

WOW, this course is amazing. First off it is in amazing condition, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for that is because the fairways had been previously aerated, the bunkers were soaked, and someone had been scuffing up the greens, but the fairways were nice and spongey and the greens were nice and fast but not too challenging and the tees were absolutely stellar (I also loved the cool tee markers). The track however is stunning, I am a short hitter and the red tees (would normally be white tees) were very friendly while letting the holes play relatively short but still keeping the fairly long carries and the downhill tee shots. The course was tight but not impossible because of the fact that I could a hit a 5 iron off almost every tee and still be only an 8 iron away. The rock flows nicely wit the course and is not everywhere. I will admit the bunkers have pretty bad sand but they on most holes they are not intruding in the middle of the fairway and are very shallow. The scenery of this course is great, especially on holes 15-18 with the lake and wetlands coming in to action. I love the par 3s on this course, they are all 6-9 iron in length and atlas 3 are very scenic and interesting... the 15th is really one of the most amazing holes I've ever played however the 10th was my favourite. It's quite unfortunate that you start on the 8th and theres no clubhouse but overall this course was amazing, we payed 45 with a cart after 3 and I think this would be comparable to $100+ course.
