A very good experience

This course was in excellent condition; really good. A public course, with heavy volume of play!
EagleVail is a mountain course, with several elevated tee boxes with spectacular views. Go back to the pro tee on ten. There are several tight holes, demanding very precise play. The course winds through a residential area, with lots of nets up , and cart governors to slow them down in several areas. Amenities and staff were fine.

This is a good one. Pete Dye design; moguls and bumps everywhere, small tricky greens. Interesting holes. Check it out.

Red Mountain Ranch

Finally played Pete Dye desert effort in the desert- a test piece with Dye features such as lots of railroad ties, all the little mounds, undulating greens, severe green complexes where mere mortals end up in places where there is no chance. Also water hazards. Designed about 30 years ago, surrounded by houses where a dog actually barked suddenly on a players backswing near the golf tees. Fairways are not wide but lotsa grass out there and a chance to play out of the desert as well. Fun to play. Conditioning was not an issue. Walkers out there. Movement up and down slopes, but again walkable.Highly recommend.
