Favorite course

This is my favorite Green Valley course. The fairways, greens, and bunkers are in great shape and well maintained. The narrow fairways, elevation changes and pond holes make it a fun, challenging course. Great layout.

Not bad for the money

This is a short par 61 course with narrow fairways and small greens. The clubhouse is sadly run down, but the staff was friendly and considerate, sending my twosome out early to get ahead of a foursome. The course condition was average. We finished 18 holes in three hours after soon catching up with another foursome. The short fairways and relaxed atmosphere at this course make it a great place to take beginner.

This course plays well year round.

Heavy rain through the night before our round. It was still raining when we arrived at the course. There was running water flowing across the 1st green when we arrived. The rain stopped before we teed off. There was still some standing water on the first green when we got there, but that was the last green that standing water was an issue. As soggy as the course was our threesome only had one ball plug in a fairway in 18 holes. This course drains well and is very playable year round.

Nice course

This course has a good location in the Tucson area and is easy to find. The course was in better condition (not so dry) than two municipal courses we had played earlier. The greens were in good condition, not dry and hard. The tree lined fairways are a little narrower than some. There were a couple of water hazards to hit over, and of course the ever present green side bunkers. The staff was friendly and helpful. Facility improvements were in progress while we were there. My only criticism is that the cart paths could have used a few more direction signs where they entered and exited the community streets for those of us who have not been there before. I would play this course again.
