For having played after a morning of rain, the course was in super condition.

Today was a most favourable golfing experience at Shadow Mountain Golf Course!
The pace could have been quicker but only by about 20 minutes for 18 holes!
The staff are exceptional! Thank you.

There were so many positives with my round this afternoon. The couple I was matched with were enjoyable to be with, the pace was great, the weather was perfect, the staff were polite and professional and the course was in good condition. The only down side were the packed sand traps! When grass is growing in the traps we all know they haven’t been worked for some time.

I golfed this course for the first time some seven years ago. This was my second time. The course is not for a 15 handicap golfer. The frustrations were as a result of the greens being extremely fast which could be overcome with them being soft. However, they were hard and so it was impossible to keep the ball from running out!
Also, the bunkers are exceptionally deep which is fine. But when they are packed for the most part it is again a real challenge to get the ball out.
In summary, the course is probably a great challenge for a six handicapper but not for a handicap in the teens!

The restaurant was good. The menu was appealing with selections, the prices were most reasonable and the food was acceptable.
The most significant downside to the course were the sand traps! They should not be that deep if you have packed sand in them. Seems like you roll the traps - terrible. Otherwise the course condition was reasonable.

Everything was five star given the value except for the sand traps which were VERY hard and almost impossible to play out of.
The staff were great and the teeing off time was on schedule!

This was a most enjoyable outing. I have to say the course is in as good condition as I’ve seen it in ten years!

I’ve golfed in the valley for ten years and never golfed
Woodhaven until two weeks ago. I’ve now golfed it four times and it is my ‘new’ favourite course. I love the service and staff helpfulness most of all! The course condition is very good and variety of holes is appealing. Being five minutes from where I live is also a bonus. I have recommended it to friends and will continue to do so.

This was a pleasure playing Shadow Mountain! Conditions were favourable, pace was just over three hours and staff were most accommodating!

This was definitely a surprise experience. The layout was reasonable.the conditions were suspect. The fairways hadn't been cut for some time. There were mounds or indentations of dirt in the middle of the fairway. Some were mere yards from the green.
I couldn't remember seeing any ball washers.
Because of the price I paid, I was ok with this round. However, for more than $20, I wouldn't do it!

This was perfect in all areas - Course ondition, staff friendliness, weather, etc., etc.

If someone was not happy golfing San Gorgonio on the 26th of Dec., they are too hard to please!

This was a great first time experience on this course.the only criticism was that the greens were extremely slow. However, for the price, it is understandable!
Would do it again, especially with two grandsons aged 10 and 12.

This was a pleasant first time experience on this course. The fairways were somewhat thin with grass. All else was five star. The variety of holes was appealing and it seemed open and spacious! I would definitely do it again!

This will NOT be the last time I Golf here. It is vastly improved this year compared to previous years.

Everything about this experience was top notch!

I golfed in a threesome and our tee time was for 12:07. We teed off just before 12 which was great. However, by the fourth hole, things started jamming up. It took us 30 minutes to golf #6. By this time the Course Marshall caught up to us and indicated that the entire course is plugged. So he offered to take us back to #1 again and restart, which we did.
We never did catch up to the congestion, which suggests the entire course was not indeed plugged!
Long story short, it was NOT a favourable experience for the reasons mentioned.
Also, the confirmation on GolfNow stated it would be a shot gun start, which it was not! We advised the starter of this and he said they never have a shot gun on Saturdays. So here is the notification to Golf now to get your facts straight!
As a 72 year old fit golfer, riding alone in a cart, with golf cart paths only, it was a round I would not do again. When I booked as a single in a shot gun format, I was of the opinion that I would be riding tandem which would have not quite been the same amount of walking.

All aspects of the round were great except for the condition of the course. The greens were somewhat dry with some bare spots. The fairways also had some bare spots and for the most part did not have 'lush' grass. But how can one complain for $29 plus nominal Golfnow fee! Yes I will do it again! I am a 15 handicap golfer.

We were a three some and enjoyed the track. However, the first nine holes were painfully slow! We had 2 or 3 groups on every tee box in the front nine. The back nine was quick with no waiting!
We enjoyed the variety of holes, the water and sand traps and contours of the greens. We will be back and hopefully with less waiting as was my previous time out!

This course was substantially better than one month ago. We played a shot gun start which was professionally organized and the pace of play was perfect. The three of us left wondering what possibly could have been better with our golf experience that day! Kudos to the staff at Shadow Mountain Golf Resort.

For thirty five dollars this was a fair deal. I would not pay upwards of thirty five dollars. To play this course in almost five hours was annoying. As a threesome we waited on most of the holes. There was no course Marshall moving the play along. The condition of the course was fair. Even though the greens were good, there were several 'pot' marks surrounding the green on most holes. There were no visible signs on the course where the desert landscape was put in telling us whether we take a drop or play out of the soft gravel. Not a real big deal but just saying.
