Very impressed with all facets of the course and staff. They are making significant investments in the practice area - the newly renovated one opens in July - and in the maintenance of the course. Substantial rain has helped but the staff attention to detail is the determining factor. We noted they are behind - understandably - in bunker maintenance. A few we played as GUR. Greens recovering nicely from being punched - should be true and quick by next week.

Course is in good condition, lush fairways absorbing the daily (it seems!) rain. Greens have been recently punched but recovering nicely. Should be in very good to excellent condition by next week.

Big rain overnight but course conditions were very good. We were a twosome and although not pressing a 4 ahead, they waited at a par 3 to let us through. Nice.

Greens were quick and true and fairways good - grass was still dormant; looks like good Spring conditions within two weeks. Definitely will come back.

It was a delightful day for our Saturday threesome. Fairways in good to excellent condition, greens a little fuzzy for the winter but rolled true; not bumpy at all. Bunkers were exceptional and nicely maintained.

8th hole, par 5, a little on the odd side - 495 from the forward tees. "Just keep hitting it, I guess."

Golf carts are gas powered. Jerky starts and stops and consequently unpaved cart paths and some parts of fairways VERY bumpy.

Delightful time at South Hamptom. Very friendly and helpful pro shop staff members, starter and cart staff. All professional demeanor and knowledgeable.

Fairways, rough and greens in exceptional condition. Would like to see players a bit more mdiligent in repairing ball marks but greens run fast and true.

Some bunkers were hard pack; that seems due to recent heavy rain. Most were very good.

A very nice day at Cimarrone. We had some intermittent rain so the shelters around the course were welcome.

Fairways in wonderful condition, greens recovering from aeration so rather slow. Look to be excellent within a week to 10 days.

An enjoyable day - fast greens, maybe a little burned but well maintained. Similar for fairways. Liked the course layout and level of difficulty. Quite a bit of water but not too many forced carries.

Pro shop staff was courteous and helpful. Similar for the course staff we encountered while playing.

First time playing here as home base is as private club. It's certainly an OK municipal course and good value for the cost. The fairways are hard (winter) and not a lot of grass under the ball. Bunkers generally well maintained and greens fair to good.

We were happy with the test - conditions different than our usual and a good way to shine up some rusty skills.
