I've golfed Phoenix area for 25+ years. This was one of my favorite courses along with the Raven, The Phoenician and Dinosaur Mountain. I love the layout and totally different challenges on this course. Sadly, the condition of this course has gone downhill. My latest round was a totally sad experience. Up to 4 foursomes on holes. The greens were literally the worst I've played on. Unrepaired ballparks covered the greens. On one green, it was rippled so bad that when my chip from just 8 feet hit the ripples it went almost 90 degrees left. We didn't get to play the last two holes and when we got back to the pro shop, it was closed. I can't recommend to my friends this course. It appears it's going the way of Kokopelli.

Great course to play. Fun holes with strategy needed to score well. Always a good time one the course. Staff friendly and accommodated us when we ask for separate carts for our twosome due to the Corona virus.

No water on the course. Cart girl made regular stops. Fairways were ok. Greens slow, a little bumpy and not always true. Pretty wide open. Slow 1st 9 and second nine ok pace.. ok course for mid or high handicap players, not all that challenging but we had fun.

Great all around course. Friendly staff, first 3 holes open, then wide fairways through residential before the ending desert holes through hills with the 18th having a fantastic view of Phoenix and surrounding area. A must play course. Only negative is their warmup/practice area. Just a net, carpet pads with no toes, shabby.

Horrible pace of play. Greens in good shape, fairways passable, rough sparce. Layout good for a flat course. Marshall did respond when the fivesome in front of us was to slow. Checkin rather dowdy looking. Would not play again and cannot recommend this course.

Highly recommend this course. Greens show a lot of hits, but never presented putting problems. Pay attention to the hole diagrams as this helps navigate the course. Got a good bargain with Golf Now. Not a course for beginners. Enjoyed it.

Ridiculous. Greens are in horrible condition and apparently they don't care. There is no putting on these greens, just hitting the ball. When you have to move the ball so it's not sitting in a blemish it gets frustrating. I cant believe this course is allowed on any golf booking site. It's sad they have allowed this course to deteriorate to its present condition. Years back it was an enjoyable par 3 course. Dont waste your money!!

The course needs work: the fairways are sparse in places, repair patches in other places but no problem playing off them. The greens putt pretty fair, but some have weed problems and need other work to be more consistent, but overall the ball rolls ok. I liked the challenge some greens presented. Staff was nice and kept track of me to make my T time. Course layout is good and is not a housing course, but an actual course. A little tight in some holes, but ok. No strategy holes, but you need to watch your approach shots on most holes.

2nd Troon course I've played in 2 weeks, both advocate 4 hour 10 minute rounds, but neither one has anyone doing anything to speed up play. On one hole we had foursome on the green one waiting in the fairway, one waiting on the tee, us waiting on deck, and the foursome behind us leaving their green to stack up behind us . I overheard one of the foursome ahead of us say " This isn't fun anymore. .." as we waited on another T. I could see fairways ahead clear. Courses seem afraid to possibly upset a few people, not realizing they are upsetting a lot of people by doing nothing. This course is off my playlist.

A good challenge, but no way I would pay rack rates for this course. Tee boxes not in best of shape, greens ok, but lots of ball marks and a few with grassless spots. Fairways spotty in some areas. The layout is fun and can be challenging. No trick holes, but smallish greens. Some better marking of where to drive between holes is needed. This is our second time playing and we Again got lost after finishing. The sign after the tunnel needs to be a U turn, not an arrow. We paid $50, a good price for this course.

Staff was nice, but not overly helpful. Bought a small coffee for $4, don't know the price of a large and don't want to. This is a resort course and only played due to reasonable golfnow price. Fairways were in excellent shape, greens were in superior condition. Holes were well laid out and challenging. Fairways are wide enough for the amateur golfer. I've played a number of courses in the Phoenix area and this course is definitely in my top 5. Would play again for the golfnow price.
