Cart path only on just a few holes after some heavy rains the night prior. Literally nothing negative to say, except the Ranger actually delayed us down form teeing off hence slowing us down to tell us that we needed to pick up the pace lol. It was laughable and unnecessary. After no effort at all to catch up to the group in front of us we ended up waiting in almost every shot for the last 6 holes. THANKS RANGER RICK

Can’t say enough about The Florida Club Golf Course. Great staff when you arrive, great practice facility, teed off prior to my set tee time. Played fast without any delay. Only two hole were cart path only after a bunch of rain prior. Greens are as true as any in the area and rival private clubs. Bunkers are maintained and fairways are immaculate. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FLORIDA CLUB!

Besides the top dressed greens it was a perfect golf day. The course is in great condition and for the money it’s unbeatable in the area. Pace of play was good with only 18 being cart path only. I highly recommend The Florida Club!

Love the course! Greens are probably a week or so away from being back to normal after aerification. Great layout, with proper pace of play. Very friendly staff!

Can’t say enough about Lost Lake. From pro shop, starter, Ranger, and outside staff, everyone is very helpful and friendly. Practice facilities are outstanding. Range balls are included which is a rarity for such a reasonably priced course. The course conditions (even with the soggy areas) are remarkable. The greens are by far the best in the area for a public venue. Highly recommended!

Too slow, too poorly kept, too rude, too cheap. Won’t be back after a 5 1/2 hours round...

Slowest pace of play in the area, staff clearly can’t get their tee times straight. Starter sends twosomes in a pack of foursome, and then the ranger likes to push groups that LITERALLY have nowhere to go! Plenty of better courses with more capable staff in the area. STAY AWAY unless you like 5 hour rounds while waiting on every single shot.

After reading some of the recent reviews I’ve decided to chime in. I agree with some points provided in recent reviews, pace of play and crowding is definitely a big problem at Martin Downs. They really don’t seem to have a system of checks and balances to make sure there is proper spacing on the course. I was very surprised when the starter told my son and I to tee off, as a twosome, In the middle of a ton of foursomes. Needless to say we wait is on every shot. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

Absolutely ridiculous and out of line ”ranger”. Played in the afternoon, which is offer very busy, as it was this day. The ranger has the audacity to tell my threesome that were slow and need to pick it up. We were sandwiched between foursomes and we’re waiting on EVERY shot. After we explained this to him which he didn’t seem to understand, he arrived a few holes later claiming the same issue. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! I’ve been around golf the golf business for more than 30 years, this is unacceptable, and should never happen. The ranger’s job isn’t to annoy the paying customers..... wont be back and I heard similar from the surrounding groups, NOT because it was slow, it’s BECAUSE OF THE STAFF!! Besides Mike the Cart Guys are terrible

Please stay away! Better courses with in just a couples miles. It’s a waste of time. Looks like it had been abandoned, unkept, and disgusting. They are overcharging even at $20ish. It’s basically a pasture with homes tightly lining most “fairways”. Greens are absolutely terrible. Really not one redeeming quality. Thought it was a steal at the price but we quickly learned why. HONESTLY IF YOU LIKE TO ENJOY GOLF GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I live in Palm City and this place is an embarrassment. Sorry, but you should know before you go.

Love the outside golf attendant, Mike, he’s the best, most honest, and friendliest golf employee I’ve ever met. With that said the course was cart path only after heavy rain the previous day. As we make the turn we notice a threesome has conveniently jumped out in front of our twosome on 10. They were slow, bad golfers. We thought they’d let us through in the near hole which is a par three. We were sadly mistaken and preceded to jump them on the next hole. So not only did they start on the back nine without any permission they were under the impression three bad golfers were going to be faster then two above average ones. Bottom line they should’ve been closed in the first place and overall they’d they need to spend the $50 a day it would cost to hire an on course RANGER! Seriously the owner doesn’t care about the Crane Creek course at all. His priority is the over priced private course on property. Sorry but it’s true.

Found a great hot deal tee time for 8:30am. We were able to tee off well before and beat the crowd. Another twosome joined us which worked out because we were behind another foursome. Besides waiting on many shots on the back nine we were done in just under 4 hours. Greens were pretty bumpy but sneaky fast. Driving range is very small, can’t hit more than about 220 yards and is adjacent to serveral holes. After our round the cart attendant basically ignored us while not seeming busy. Great deal for the money I’d you can get out early in the day.

The title sums it up. Took my friend and I over 4 hours to play as a twosome. Greens were in less than diserable shape with sand on every one. We teed off later in the afternoon and needless to say it was dark when we were done even with day light savings time. Bar/restaurant was closed before we even teed off, unbelievable. Won’t be going back!

Booked an 8am tee time and went off before 8:00am. The tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens were in really good shape as compared to the summer. As a twosome, the two foursomes ahead of us were more than happy to let us play through which was unexpected and very welcomed. These gentlemen were members and had no issue with a twosome playing quickly. Staff, both inside and out, were welcoming and very helpful. Overall great experience and with a fantastic Hot Deal I can’t wait to go back.

Should’ve ask for my money back. Just horrible rough, puddles in the fairway and bunkers. Super slow and aerated greens. Stay away! Not worth it!

Course should not have been open. They had received way too much rain to be open. Cart path and rough only was what we were told. There was way too much standing water to be suitable for play. I feel we did more damage than good because we were aloud to drive in the course. Bad choice

Love playing here but the cart girl was less than hospitable. Played on Labor Day which was very busy, unfortunately the beverage cart girl was rude and dismissive. After the round we all went to the clubhouse bar, same girl with the same attitude. The food was below average at best and was extremely limited. They need to get there stuff together if they plan on succeeding. We won't return to the bar or spend extra time after our rounds anymore. Too bad

Now under new management, Martin Downs golf course is showing promise. They have a starter and ranger now, which I find keeps play consistent and fast. Still unsure what exactly is going on with the bar/restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. Wish the new course on property would open soon. Have been waiting some time to play there. All in all I was very happy playing at Martin Downs Country Club.

Honestly, one of the best public courses I have ever palyed. Fun layout, well manicured, and fantastic practice facility. Greens were in superb condition, which I often find rare with public courses. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. I would recommend this course to any level golfer, many tee boxes for any ability. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I will be back again, no doubt.
