Played course about a year ago just after greens aeration, so experience somewhat diminished by that. Returned for a 4th of July round this year and course was in fine condition despite heavy local rains over the weekend. Pace was decent for a holiday but was probably lessened due to inclement weather. Greens and fairways were in pretty good shape. Few more rough spots on the fairways than on the greens but anything under $30 is a deal here if you can pay that.

Nice course in Forsyth just north of Decatur. Most fairways are wide open. Fairways and greens were well manicured. Complimentary yardage books and divot tools are a nice touch. More yardage markers on the course would be nice.

This was a great course. Perhaps most impressive was the way the course was managed. Pro shop attendants were polite and informative. $5 lunch buffet is a great idea - quick, tasty, and plentiful. The course was challenging and full of character. Will definitely be returning to this little jewel in Decatur.

Course had a few areas that needed some work; the water coolers need to be cleaned as the water tastes like bilge water from the sewers. Some tough holes

Course was well maintained and in good shape. Carts with GPS are nice. Only problem out here is pace of play. Group in front of me was playing 3 golfers with one bag. There was no starter to manage golfers teeing off; having a starter can help smooth the flow of the course and prevent things like 3 people playing out of one bag - that shouldn't be allowed, and they need to make sure people know to let others through.
