Variety of yardage makes it interesting. Greens are very slow but surviving summer burn

Looked for place to play through overseed….traditional layout, good conditions, greens naturally slow after overseed, but very good shape. Pace is average. Value is tops

Rarely hit driver, target course. Enjoyed change of pace. Everybody’s fairways burned out, greens and apron playable. Most tee boxes ok.

Challenging Dunes course, enjoyed the challenge. Easy for pace of play to suffer.

Nice course , conditions were very good. Greens rolled were not easy to read. While pace was average, for Chicago on a weekend, was above the usual. 5 hour round—4:25

Needed to play before 10a with all the gouging going on. Can’t imagine fees in prime January thru March. Layout pretty good. Overseed spotty. Don’t want to spend 100+. , will do in pinch

Excellent greens. Fairway showing some heat stress, normal summer wear and tear. Play was slow, too hot for 4.5 hour round. No water on course, beverage cart seen once each side.

Only one on the course for afternoon play. Good layout, plays longer than expected, variety of shot making, conditions were average.

Love playing the course. Challenging layout among the best in the valley. Fairways and greens were good, some areas a little stressed from the heat, but overall very good. The grass in the rough can get out of hand at times, but was very fair on this date. Nice practice facility and the food service is good. Drink cart was not available on the front, but made two passes on the back.

Very playable fun course, good championship challenge. Bring your friends here rather than the north Scotsdale courses. They will play at a better pace, lose less golf balls and have an overall better golf experience. Paying a little less is also a bonus. Facillities are all excellent from practice to food and beverage.

Love the course, on my must play summer list....but, I have never enjoyed the experience. Service is the worst in the valley, dismissive is accurate, and I base this on multiple visits over several years, maybe I'm just unlucky. The pace of play was grinding to a 5 hour pace (107), after we had caught up to the pack on number 6. Ranger drove by on 9, and we suggested he try to encourage the slow players to pick it up. His response was the 4hr 20 pace was acceptable, and we had unrealistice expectations to play any faster. Then he wouldn't shut up and let us play out the hole. We did not see the ranger the rest of the back nine, the cart bubbas had no idea what the pace of play on their course was, so obviously the the confrontational ranger was blowing smoke. It is a very good course, summer is creating some conditions issues, but they were mininmal....Wildfire needs to remind their staff who the customer is ....I will not return.

Haven't played in 5 years...fun, challenging course to play, comparable to your favorite courses in the state. Aeriation going on two holes at a time, so impact is minimal. Very good condition, fairways were excellent, actually has rough, although very playable. Greens are slower than top valley courses. Had the course to ourselves with a noon tee time.

Good opportunity to play course where the winter visitors drop a couple bills playiing. Played north front 9 and south front 9, combined make up shortest combination. Target course, with desert in play on every hole. Fair course, only a couple of "course knowledge" holes; yardage guide is included and helpful. Really enjoyable for desert scenery and pristine conditions.
