We have played Spring Valley in the past, although it has been a couple of years and we were very disappointed this time. The greens were okay, but the fairways were atrocious . Dried out barren and cracked in many places. To pay $55 for a round there was out of line. We won't be going back in the future.

We play Spring Valley several; times a year enjoy the layout. Greens were in very good shape. Putts rolled nicely. A variety of tees allows golfers to pick a good yardage for their game.

I think this is a good course for the money. It is normally in good condition. The Greens putt very true. Only problem last time was we were behind a foursome that caused our round to be over five hours. A Ranger speeding them up would have been appreciated

Not an overly long course, but it was in excellent condition, the greens were very consistent and rolled very nicely. Fairways were as good as it gets. Would definitely play again.

Course was very good if they could have just toned down the wind on the day we played (20-30 mph), but I guess that's out of their control. Greens rolled great although not overly fast. Fairways were in excellent shape. Only complaint was for this caliber of course it would seem that the carts should have GPS.

Generous fairways that were almost too lush (not much roll out on drives). Greens putted true and were in good shape but had some real contour to them. Don't want to be above the hole on most of them. Would definitely play again.

Greens are in good shape and putted true. A little slow but had had a week of rain. Greens are still hard and don't hold approach shots real well, but overall it is an enjoyable lay-out with wide fairways but a number of bunkers to negotiate.

Course is not overly long from the tips. Generous fairways. Greens were in good condition but lots of contours. Bring your best putter!!!

From first arrival to lunch after the round, experience was A1. Greens roll great, fairways are consistent and plenty of room. Only head scratcher is that three of the four par 3's play from dramatically elevated tees. Other than that, course lay-out is very interesting and you need to all the clubs in your bag. Might add that sand traps were very consistent (I made sure to play out of most of them this day). A great experience and ranks up at the top of my Phoenix area golf course list!!!

I like the layout of the course. There was a good variety of holes and you use all the clubs in your bag. You also have some
risk/reward choices on a few holes. The fairways should have been better, but the putting surface was very good.

Somewhat interesting layout, but the course conditions are below average. The greens are very slow and ball tends to bounce all over. Making a putt of any length depends on the luck of the bounce.
