The Links At Brick Landing
Played On 07/12/2022Great design, lots of water, but 3 temporary Greens
Not a long course, but a shot makers course with water on almost every hole. But three greens were temporary and the rest were a bit hairy (slow). Heard there are new owners putting money into the course. With some love and care, it could be very good. But for the money, not bad.
The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club
Played On 06/21/2021Unknown aeration so had to play front 9 twice
Little disappointed that Golf Now did not identify that aeration on back nine had it shut down so I had to play the front twice. That said - the value of $30 is amazing for this super course of which the front nine was in beautiful shape. Slow play a bit and no ranger on the course but it was a Monday.
Crescent Pointe Golf Club
Played On 06/10/2021Needs some updates
Shame that this course was not in great shape. Tee boxes were not good, greens were very slow and hairy. Cart paths were super bumpy. I heard this course was recently bought by a new group - so hopefully in a year they put some money into this potentially good course.
We're so sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience. Your feedback has been relayed to our team.
Carolina National Golf Club - Egret Nine
Played On 11/23/2020Nice course - especially if you can get a deal on Price
I forgot I played here 5 years ago - but it came back to me once I got to the clubhouse. Course has 3 9-holes so multiple “options” on which “18” you will play. I played Ibis and Herron and enjoyed it. The course was in pretty good condition for late November. I wasn’t too happy that as the first tee time, we caught the “last” group going off the other 9 when we made the turn. We didn’t even play the front 9 quickly (2 hours) but then having to wait on all shots in the 2nd nine was not great. But overall, I would go back.
Thank you for your review. We will pass along your experience to our team at Carolina National Golf Club - Ibis Nine. We look forward to seeing you again soon and thanks for playing!
Leopard's Chase Golf Links at Ocean Ridge Plantation
Played On 07/10/2020Nice course - greens a bit slow
First time at the course. Had a 7:30am tee time and went off on time, passed a 2-some on number 4 and finished as a single in 2:30 hours. Course is nice, fair amount of water and fairways in pretty good shape. Some of the greens had some damage (disease) but that was spotty so not terrible. But the greens were perhaps the slowest I have seen in years. Maybe the type of grass or the “high” mowing. Also, they could use a good rolling to even them out as they were also a bit bumpy. Staff was nice. Good place to play
The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge
Played On 09/30/2019Greens are being repaired - wait a while until they are fixed
The course staff are great and the layout nice, but right now, most greens were overtaken by weeds so they had to kill the weeks leaving much fo the greens a barren dirt. They are having a tough time right now so lets hope they can get the greens back in shape.
Hi Lindbloe, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. However, we're sorry to hear that your recent experience was anything short of 5 stars. We truly appreciate your patience & understanding regarding our greens, but we can assure you we are continuing to take the proper steps in our efforts towards getting Chapel Ridge in good shape going into the fall season and getting the course back to the best it can be. We hope to welcome you back for a better round soon!
