The Club at Starr Pass - Rattler/Coyote

Played at 3pm. Finished in 3h and never saw anyone until the last 2 holes. Water available every other hole but never saw a beverage carry (saw one when we walked up). Got back and no one was around anywhere...pro shop closed, no attendants... Was just odd. Very much a target course, several carries even for forward tees. If you can't back off and play the smart shot (ie take an iron on a couple of tees rather than the driver because you think you can make it) then take several balls.

Friendly staff. Great price on golf now. First group out in the morning and played in 3h because we were told to go slow to give maintenance crew time. Lovely course, great layout. My favorite course we played this week (Starfire, legend trail, Boulder, talking Stick) Definitely play this course
West/North at Elmridge Golf Club

Play here often. 27 holes so pace of play is rarely an issue, but I also don't usually play on a busy Saturday! Course was in great shape. Only complaint is that the grounds crew comes right up on you and rarely shuts the engines down. I'm not on the LPGA, I get it, but can't the crew get out earlier so that they are of the course by noon??
