Wow, what a gem. It's a bit of a drive, and only $30, but designed and maintained like a $90 course in Houston. Love to see the deer on the first hole, great soft greens, manicured, rolled with great speed. Fairways are generous, perhaps a bit too wide, but not complaining. Booked another round when we hit the half way house.

Every Thanksgiving, I have family in town and we tour various courses. Texas National is always on our list due to the great value it represents. For under $20, we get a nice quiet round on a geat track with beauty on every hole. For a country course, it has a great layout and is kept in decent condition given the time of year.
