Papago Golf Course
Played On 10/07/2022Lack of disclosure
We made a tee time and looked forward to playing one of the Valley's most underrated courses. However, when we got there we were informed the range was closed and there were a 'few' temporary greens (there were four). Because of on-going construction the course played as a par 65, the bunkers were concrete (which resulted in multiple lost balls when we couldn't find where the bounces of the concrete ended up) and the course was basically torn up. A little advance disclosure would have been helpful--I had out of town guests that weren't very happy with my choice of courses Very disappointed
TPC Las Vegas
Played On 11/21/2020don't' do it--brutal pace of play
this is an outstanding, well-maintained, challenging golf course. However, the pace of play was brutal (nearly five hours). After a 2 1/2 hour front nine, we called the pro shop to see if they could do something. A person came out and talked to a couple of groups who were clearly two holes behind. The woman said she talked to them and would monitor the situation--and then disappeared, never to be seen again. The fact that they didn't follow up and that it took a call from them to determine there was a problem indicated their pace of play guidelines were not taken seriously. There are too many good courses in the area to put up with five hour rounds. I'm taking my business elsewhere next time.
Camelback Golf Club - Padre Course
Played On 10/15/2020done with golf now
the customer service on this website is non-existent as it is impossible to reach a real person to resolve issues, and they don't respond to emails. I'm done with using Golf Now and will take my business elsewhere.
The DMV and the IRS are more customer friendly than these people
Wigwam Resort - Red Course
Played On 01/26/2020Great value
The Wigwam Red course remains one of my favorite mid-priced golf courses in the valley. While not as difficult as the neighboring Gold course it has tricky greens and is a fun layout to play, and a good challenge from the tips. The pace of play was right at 4 hours, very good for a Sunday morning. The course was in good shape and the greens were fast. Very much worth the 45 minute drive from the East Valley.
The Olympic at Gold Mountain Golf Course
Played On 08/25/2019snail's pace
Third and last time playing the course. The first two times the pace was exceedingly slow but I liked the course so I thought I'd try it again My son gave me a gift certificate for XMAS so we went out on Sunday. We got to the sixth tee and there were two groups already there (we were the third). the marshall came around and said there were a couple of slow groups but they had started to speed up.
The round took five hours and ten minutes--unacceptable for early Sunday morning. I'm done.
Hi Dan, thank you for choosing TPCLV and for taking the time to share your day. We acknowledge and apologize for the slow play you experienced at your 11:10am tee time. Slow play is not common at our club, especially in the mornings. We show your group played in 4:45. Apparently a 16 player group ahead of you was the responsible party. We take pace of play seriously and our golf shop will be detailing action items to improve moving forward. Our Golf Shop will also be reaching out to you via the club survey you completed. Thanks and take care!
