I work in the golf industry at a private club in Scottsdale so I am a bit spoiled with great conditions and fast pace. For a public facility in the summer, I was jaw dropped at this course. WOW, the layout of this course is downright amazing. The course conditions for summer out here in the desert were beyond impressive as the agronomy staff has done their job right. The greens were rolling great, bunkers were good, and plentiful, and the on course water bottle stations were a nice sight to see for a public facility. Overall, this place blew my expectations away. Job well done Camelback!

Being a resort course you can almost guarantee that the grounds will be well kept, which they were. The conditions for summer were very good and the course is very fun and playable for all levels. The AC mist units on the cart were a nice bonus and the ice and water stations were constant throughout the course.

I recommend this track.

I will be honest I did not have high expectations coming to this track. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The staff was great, the practice facilities were great, and the course is an outstanding condition. I got paired up with two great guys and we played in three hours 40 minutes. I found out that trilogy is going to be building the developments there and they have done a great job with the surrounding beautification.

The amount of land this course has is amazing. The track has some great holes, some holes that made you scratch your head and a ton of elevation changes. There is one section of the course (back 9) where the game becomes kind of a joke. There are a couple of blind tee shots that, with the amount of land, make no sense in being there.

The condition of the course was great, greens were very soft, fairways were cut well and tee boxes were flat.

My main issue with the course was the greens. They were in great condition and rolled well, but the design and undulation were kind of a gimmick. The mounds on the greens were far from smooth.. it was like hitting up 5 foot parking curbs.

The staff was amazing... the best part of the experience

Two rounds in 5 hours 2 minutes. 36 HOLES!!! For the time of year, Sept 27, a few days before overseeding starts, the course was still in great shape. The greens were true, very flat, but the speeds were hard to gauge. Fairways were still green and like carpet. Bunkers were soft.

Cant remember the last time I played 36 holes without a person in front of us. Literally there was no one on the course.
