El Dorado CG is in Nice playable condition. Fairways and Greens are in good shape. Nice course to walk and enjoy your round. Played from Blue Tees and good test for your game.
Enjoyed the afternoon round on 8/23/23.

Course sand traps in terrible conditions. Little sand in the and upkeep is terrible.

Not sure if American Golf would be happy with conditions.

Hopefully with the course a full capacity with players. Revenue will help with better course management.

Lakewood Country club is a nice course to play when course conditions are good. Played on a great weather day 2/18/18. Course has tough Par 3's and some good Par 4's. Pace of Play is slow due to having too many 5somes out on the course and marshall only on 1st tee box during the round.. Tee Boxes need some improvements with lack of good grass to hit off. I believe Lakewood can improve course manicuring with the right person.
Note: New club house and sitting area outside really nice.
Look forward to seeing it get better by the summer.

El Dorado Golf course is a nice municipal course to play here in Long Beach, California. Can be challenging if weather conditions change with winds. Course fairway and greens in good shape. Recently sanded but didn't affect puts too much. Greens pretty quick on putts. Should be really nice greens in a couple of weeks. Good accommodations in pro shop and restaurant.
