Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort
Played On 09/03/2017I can tell they're spending money here
I can tell they're spending money here. Finally! I stopped playing this course due to the bunkers not having any sand, fairways bare and hard and greens in below average shape. With all that said, I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped on the first tee and saw how green everything was. I can see they're finally turning this course around. Fairways were excellent and the greens were in great shape. Bunkers actually hand sand in them. I was timid with my first bunker shot because I didn't believe there would be enough sand to hit behind the ball. I was wrong. The only downside of not playing this course in awhile was the rough. It is grown out in and it made it difficult to find your ball. I'm looking forward to returning this course into my normal rotation.

Played On 08/01/2015I dont understand all of the hype?
I played this course when I finally saw a reasonable deal on golfnow. I don't understand the hype for this course. Unfortunately, I thought the course was just average. I did like the elevated tees and wide fairways but none of the holes were really that memorable. With that, I think that's what everyone gets caught up in. All in all, I did have a great time because I was playing golf but I thought the course was ok and I was let down a bit based on all the hype this place gets. Nothing like hearing gunshots in the nearby desert while on the back nine. I did like the complimentary brownie they give you mid round!
Coyote Lakes Golf Club
Played On 01/18/2014Won't enforce a faster pace of play
I have played this course about 6 or 7 times in the past and about 3 times in the past month. The course itself is somewhat challenging but if you aim for the 150 yard markers in the middle of the fairways you will enjoy yourself a very nice round. For some of you long hitters out there may find some of the par 4’s reachable in 1 and some of the par 5’s play very short if you get a good drive off the tee. Most of my rounds have been very enjoyable and I have played them in about 3 and a half to 4 hours on average. Unfortunately that was not the case when I played on 1/18. My round took me about 5 and half hours because of incredibly slow play by others and the course marshal not enforcing faster play. The course marshal came up to us and asked how it was going and we told him that the play was incredibly slow and unenjoyable and all he said was “well, at least it’s a nice day out.” Why even have course marshals if you aren’t even going to enforce a faster pace of play? Overall it’s a nice course but because of the slow pace of play and I hate to say it; I will not be returning to Coyote Lakes any time in the near future.
Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
Played On 2/26/2013Great Course for the money
I played the Links course on a whim with my buddy and I'm glad I did. This course is really fun and some of the Par 4's require you to use less than driver on a couple tees which is nice and makes for a good mental game. The 15th hole Par 3 is by far the best hole on the course. You get a great view of the Valley and a very nice elevated tee if you are playing from the tips. Overall I would definitely play this course again many times over.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our golf course. We truly appreciate the compliments on the elevation of the course, as well as the brownies, and we certainly thank you for the "excellent" rating on Staff Friendliness...we will share that with our team!
We're sorry that you didn’t have the experience to match what you've heard about the course. We strive to deliver the type of round that will stick in your mind as one of your best, and we missed our mark during your recent visit.
