Southwyck finally has their greens back after months of struggling to save them. The course is in good shape overall and the greens haven't been this good in probably a year.

One suggestion - you have decent carts, but the governors are set way too slow. Would be nice if you turned them up a notch!!

Lose The GPS Auto-Disable On Your Golf Carts!!!!

I play your course maybe once every 6 months and EVERY time I do, I leave frustrated. Your golf carts just suck. The GPS auto-disable function is like treating your customers like they are children. Turn the D!! thing off! You just frustrate people with it. And the non-stop advertising on the GPS overhead is overbearing. Having to touch the screen every 30 seconds is outrageous.

You really need to learn how to treat your external customers better. I know your course struggles financially and I can't see how you can afford to treat people this way and lose business because of it.

Very Nice Course, But Pace Of Play Is A Huge Problem

I played Rhodes Ranch on 4/21/2018 for the first time. The course is very beautiful - more of a park land setting as opposed to a desert course. The problem with this course is pace of play. When you check in, all signs indicate they manage the place. Your tee time is displayed on your cart along with a reminder of the time you should complete every four holes. They won't give you a key to the cart until about 5 minutes before your tee time. So there's no backlog of carts on tee 1. But once you get off, the problems begin. On 4 occasions, we had 3 groups on the tee waiting to tee off. It took 2 hours and 40 minutes to make the turn. I called the pro shop on 11 tee (another one with 3 groups waiting) to ask what was going on with the pace. They said the marshal was off for the day. Even though the pro shop said they'd send someone out to check, we never saw anyone riding around to monitor things. I wouldn't suggest or play this course again due to this problem. There are just too many other choices for nice courses in Vegas to tolerate this.

Good course, but over watered

I've played here several times. I really do like the course, but they over watered it. Most shots would up with a mud ball. The weather was perfect and there was no reason to play lift clean and place other than the incredibly muddy landing areas and areas around and short of the greens. Also, whoever cuts the pins seems to like putting them on the slopes of par 3s. Probably a person who's not a golfer. Pace of play was great for most of the round. I'll definitely go back, but it would help if they cut back on watering, especially on weekends.

Course Good, Pace of Play Poor (Not Controlled Properly)

This is a good course and the condition was what I expected. The problem I had was the pace of play. It took 5 hours to complete the round. We were stacked 4 groups deep on the 3rd hole. Someone from the pro shop came out to check and later said that the pace was "technically on time". From that point, we had at least 3 groups (min) on most of the remaining holes. Also, there was no sign of a marshal patrolling the course to manage the pace. I still like the course and would recommend it, but would warn of pace so expectations are set in advance.

Slow and Not In Best Condition

While the greens were fine, the course itself has too many bare spots. Even where there is grass, it's the weirdest grass I've seen. Not sure what type it is. The worst part is pace of play. Time check at 4 hours and we were on hole 13. No apparent effort by course to marshal, even though the carts have GPS and the pro shop has monitoring capability behind the counter. I'd spend more $'s next time and play a different course.
