Another enjoyable round at this resort course. Fairways were firm and greens were fast. I will try to play here the next time we are here for sure. Greens and their approach are tricky. Lots of well placed bunkers and water. Staff was informative and happy which you don’t see everywhere. Thanks for another enjoyable round!

I have always enjoyed playing Orange County National. I was lucky to grab a good price on GolfNow and as a single was paired with a threesome. Unfortunately they were not veteran golfers and it made the round slow and difficult. While our group was slow there was a slower group ahead of us which made us finish in over 5 hours.
A marshal stopped by once to inform us she had asked the group two groups ahead of us to step it up. Unfortunately it didn't do any good.
The course was in good shape but the fairways were littered with unrepaired divots and the greens with several ball marks. Guess this is what happens at a resort course.
Still like this complex very much just a bad day here. I will try again at the next opportunity.

This is the second round I have played here but to be honest I couldn't remember the course from five years ago. The greens are huge and in very good condition. Lots of undulations and well bunkered. This is not an easy course. Fairways were dry and in good shape with a good amount of roll. Lots of bunkers in the fairways too. Loads of water but not a big problem if you plan your shots. There was a fair amount of wind which made club selection important. This is not a bump it on to the green situation. You need to fly it to firm greens which was challenging at best.
I am a veteran of Florida courses around Orlando and this course just went to the top of my list when we return next year. Staff was great, pace was fine, grounds were beautiful. Well done.

Have played this course several times over the last five years. I was pleasantly surprised today when the course was in the best shape I have ever seen. Pace was OK at 4:30 and we were a two-some behind a few four-somes. Greens were in great shape but it never ceases to amaze me how many idiots don’t fix ball marks.
I intend to try to play it again before we head north. Thanks for a great day!

Top shelf experience. I was excited to play here after I landed a hot deal. Typical green fees are $125 plus. For starters your car is handled by a valet, clubs shuttled to the staging area while you head to the pro shop. Cold water is provided in ice filled coolers on the cart, free range balls and adequate advice by the staff. I played from the blue tees despite a suggestion to play from the whites. My overall score was in range for my 8 handicap BUT the fairways are wet and very little roll is noted. Had I played from the whites I would have scored 5 shots better. Greens are very good and roll well.

Take the advice and play forward. I need my roll and this course does not give up much! Top notch course though!

I had played a different course at Orange Lake a few years ago. First time on the Reserve. Tee boxes, fairways and greens on most holes disappointing. Bunkers tough shape with very few rakes. Green speeds were very good but bare patches in many spots. Layout was very good and speed of play was tolerable. Good value as I found a "Hot Deal". Lots of play here as they have several courses.

First time here. Excellent condition. Outstanding greens. A few hidden trouble spots but I was lucky to play with members and was alerted. Staff was very friendly. Great experience. Thanks!

Have played here several times over the last 5 years or more since staying in Fla. First class facility and wonderful staff. This is the best facility in Central Florida.

After purchasing a round on the Cypress course I was surprised to see my confirmation arrive at the Oaks? Golfnow was surprised too and sent me a coupon which was great. The course was in very good shape but a little hectic when I arrived. There were no carts,(I was a single), and after explaining I didn't want to miss my time one of the attendants found one and I joined a twosome who were great. Wonderful greens too!

Playing behind a "tournament" was unfortunate as it lengthened our round to 5 1/2 hours. Fairways were full of divots which had not been filled in and most of the greens were in just OK condition. I expected more from this facility. Not a lot of roll despite not having any rain for a week? The starter seemed unhappy and not a good point person after spending a fair amount to play... Doubt I would play here again.

Played this course a while ago, maybe 10 - 12 years. The condition was average and I expected better based on the cost/reviews. Played from the Blue tees and the course was very playable with minimal impact of water. Lots of sand. Greens were just OK and I found myself repairing lots of ball marks. Not a lot of roll in fairways. Pace of play was outstanding as I was paired up with another single and we finished in about 3 1/2 hrs max. Very glad I found a reduced green fee,(nearly 1/2 price), as I would have been very upset paying over $135.
