The course presents interesting challenges using its layout and many water hazards. More of a shot maker's course than a long driver course. Greens are excellent and fast (and not Bermuda grass).

It's a fun course with a long flat front and short up and down back. Very large smooth greens that were at a reasonable but not really fast speed. There are very few bunkers (and they need work) but the course is still very enjoyable.

Shingle Creek is a great layout with interesting and diverse holes. Despite the course being busy, all the greens were in excellent shape. The amenities are great (the carts have nice, comfortable leather seats). The pace was just a little slower than I would want.

Hawk's Landing is an interesting and enjoyable course. Each hole presents a different challenge and all are immaculately kept. The first par five on the front nine is extremely unforgiving and can be very frustrating but most of the remaining holes present the right balance between difficulty and fun. The staff is always first rate.

While not overly long, the greens are mostly elevated and well defended with pristine bunkers. The holes are varied and very enjoyable for a mid handicapper like myself. The staff is excellent; this is my favorite course in Orlando.
