Golf Club of St Saint Joseph, The
Played On 10/27/2016Not too shabby
decently par three golf course. If you are looking for somewhere to challenge your skills I'd suggest going elsewhere but if you just want to have some fun then for the money you can't go wrong. The greens are fairly well kept but the rest of the course isn't that great. As long as you hit the greens you should be fine but that is extremely hard to do due to the size of the greens. Other than the 5th and 6th holes there is no water to worry about on the course. Although it is a par three course, there are two par 4's which provide excellent scoring opportunities. The 5th hole is about 200 yards uphill with water on the right and houses off the back of the green, need to be careful with positioning. The other par 4 is the 8th hole which is about 180 downhill. A nice hybrid or 3 wood will put you next to the green but don't anticipate to drive the green being that it is the smallest on the course. My favorite hole is the 9th hole, at just over 80 yards with plenty of green to work with it is a fun hole. The most difficult hole is the 6th, at 155 yards with water on the right and a tree guarding the green it is very challenging to hit the green off the tee. The staff is always extremely friendly and nice. Can't hurt giving the course a chance. However, I would suggest going the day after it rains because there is no irrigation system and the course soaks up the water really fast and makes it batter to play. (The ground can be so dry it makes it hard to stick your tee in the ground)
