The Beaufort Club
Played On 05/25/2018Stay out of the Sand
First time playing this course. I liked the variety and challenge of the holes. Between the water and the bunkers you really had to consider each shot. The bunkers had weird black sand that I was not use to. Some of the bunkers were wet and the sand either was like gooey muck or hard like cement. Best advice, just stay out of them! There was a threesome that manage to slip in front of us on the back nine that slowed us up but otherwise it was a great course.
White Heron Golf Club
Played On 03/03/2017Fun course
Water on every hole. Difficulty retrieving balls from water due to silt and muck. Fairways not very lush so ball would roll and that is not always a good thing! Greens in good condition. Saw two alligators! This is not a boring course and one needs to focus on where to hit the ball. I am a woman golfer who can't hit a ball more than 160 yards. I had a fun time.
Rio Pinar Golf
Played On 4/3/2013Greens are in poor shape.
This course has many maintenance needs but the upmost is the greens. Sadly, they are in poor shape. I got the golfnow hot deal for only $18.00 (supposedly 70% savings), but then I heard the staff tell a walkin the rate was twenty five dollars to play.
I would not play this course again because of the shape of the greens.
