Played it in wet conditions. Enjoyed the layout very much. Course was for the most part in good shape but a little rough in spots

Did not go in with high expectations. Course conditions have fallen quite a ways from its peak 10 years ago. Would have been nice to know the greens had been punched recently. I enjoy the layout. They should get some water and fill their ponds.
Ancil Hoffman Golf Course

I never get tired of playing this course. The greens are in good condition and the layout offers a very nice challenge. For a County facility it is fairly well maintained. The staff at the golf shop and in the Main Event restaurant are very nice.
Rams Hill Golf Club
Played On 05/18/2019Nice track but they failed to manage pace of play
Getting to Borrego Springs is not easy. That is the first hurdle. The course has a nice layout and is a good challenge but management failed to monitor the pace of play. They reportedly have a cart tracking system that will point out problems with slow groups quickly but apparently they do not know how to use it or are afraid to offend the guilty party. Five plus hour round. We waited for one to two groups to clear on every single hole except number one.
Turkey Creek Golf Club
Played On 04/19/2019Great Layout but could use a mower
Really like this course. It is in ok shape for a public track but really needs to mow the areas around each hole that are off the main course. Way to much time is spent looking for balls that are just off the fairway frustrating golfers and slowing down play

Thank you for visiting Rams Hill. I'm very sorry about the length of your round. We pride ourselves on the fact that the average length of a round at Rams Hill is 4hrs 15mins. However on a busy Saturday like the day you played our times occasionally slip. I hope you will come and visit us again soon. Enjoy the golf season.
