Played On 12/12/2022This course is growing into one of my favorites.
I just always seem to enjoy time on this course. I enjoy the atmosphere. No houses. Comfortable feel. Interesting links layout. Pace of play was excellent. Course is in great shape.
27 holes in ~ 4 hours.

Prioir to booking this round I read reviews in GolfNow suggesting that pace of play was very slow due to overbooking. I thought, well, it is possible this was either overstated or based on a particularly bad day, or maybe the problem was something that has since been resolved.
Tee off was delayed over 1/2 hour. There was a shortage of carts delaying everyone's start.
Every hole was extremely slow. Clearly overbooked, just as I had read in the reviews. Met many unhappy patrons on the course that day. I expect many would be prepared to pay higher green fees to avoid such frustration.
Too bad. They are really taking a hit on their reputation. I have since spoken to other golfers throughout the Orlando region who were already very aware of this problem at Rio Pinar.
The course was fine and the conditions were fine.

Course was in good shape. Moved along quickly. I was very pleased with the experience, especially when considering the price.
