Echelon Golf Club
Played On 12/27/2020Tough day when cold
This course was literally frozen. Drop your putter on the green and sounds like concrete. The course slope rating from white tees is rated much lower than it should be. Minimum of 4 holes travel steep uphill to blind greens. This course is not recommended for handicaps >12. Otherwise a very interesting layout. I will play it again....when it warms up.
Smoke Rise Country Club
Played On 02/01/2019Very Challenging
Great layout. Very challenging. Not too long but very narrow on some holes. There were some shots to some blind areas but after playing it once you should be more comfortable with the “blind” areas on your next round.
Currently the course is dormant so the fairways are showing some winter wear, but the greens were FANTASTIC.
Cart paths and fringe areas need some maintenance.
I intend to come back to play again this summer/fall when it should be at its peak in growth.

St. Marlo Country Club
Played On 06/30/2018Challenging
Great course within a gated community. You MUST keep the ball in the fairway to have a chance at a good score. A moderate course for shot makers. I will be back again and again. They were VERY stringent on pace of play even with carts restricted to the path. You MUST play “ready golf”.
Bear's Best Atlanta

The greens are in great shape. The fairways need grass and grooming.
St. Marlo Country Club
Played On 09/30/2017Great Golf Course
If you are up for a challenge, tee it up at St. Marlo. A lot of elevation changes mixed with a good layout of hazards. The 9th hole is a bear...very narrow with extreme change in elevation. Other than that, I will be back again. Now that I have seen it, I will definitely play it differently next time. Greens are bent grass and they have done a good job of trying to maintain them thru the heat of summer. Biggest problem is players not repairing ball marks.
Heritage Golf Links - Legacy Nine
Played On 08/13/2017In general, the course is in good shape. The driving range is great. The fairways are very good with numerous rolling hills that provide numerous side hill shots. A good challenge for all golfers. The greens need some attention...by players repairing ball marks. The cart paths need some attention as well...very rough...consequently the carts take a beating as well.
