Tanna Farms was wide open yesterday. We (twosome) finished in less than three and a half hours for 18 holes. The course had a few water problems but they were staked off. The restaurant had a beer special for $2.50 after 2 pm.

Enjoyed my round on the west course Thursday.
We had a few sprinkles of rain when we first teed off but temperatures were great. The Greens and fairways were in great shape, but the rough was a little long (making some shots difficult). Plan to return this year to play the East course.

We used GolfNow to book this course. It was raining the day we played but course conditions were fairly good. There was a slow group in front of us who stopped anytime it rained. We did not see the ranger until the end of the round.

We used the GolfNow rate at noon and the course was wide open. The greens were in very good shape and it's been kind of dry with no rain the past week. The traps on number nine hole needed more sand, but most traps were not in play during the round. The staff were friendly in the clubhouse and bar afterwards. We sat on the outside balcony overlooking the 18th green.

The Tee Times were wide open around 11 am last Thursday. We used the GolfNow rate and met another twosome at the course. The greens were in good shape but the tees & fairways could use more water (no rain all week). Park District staff were friendly and drinks availability in the Pro Shop.

You'll enjoy the elevated tee boxes. It's a par 37 on the front and I believe par 35 on the back. We played the white tees and found the greens to be challenging at times. Riding the fairways in the cart we're a little bumpy at times and also be careful leaving the elevated tee boxes in the cart, otherwise you'll be screeching the brakes on the way down. Had a fun time on balcony outdoor seating at the clubhouse.

Have been receiving emails for years to come out and play Bliss creek, even though I live in Carol Stream. Enjoyed playing the front nine especially, but there was a bottleneck at hole 11 a par three. We joined the twosome in front of us and enjoyed the rest of the round. The clubhouse was pleasant with good drink choices, but didn't have time to try the food.

It was a long drive from Carol Stream to Crete to play this course, but the great rate at noon made it worth our trip. The pace of play was slow on the front nine, but the fivesome two groups in front of us only played nine. Liked the layout of the course and we had a chance to meet the owner in the clubhouse afterwards.

Enjoyed playing Hilldale again (last played in 1980's) after getting a great rate on golf now.

we played the course just a few days after it hosted qualifying rounds. the course was lush and green, quite a change from the condition found at most other courses lately. a 'lost' wedge was retrieved by a ranger and returned to me. it was a good day.

a cold day made the course very challenging but it was great that they were open and allowed us to play in late december.

i have played here many times and like the layout and challenges provided. this time, keeping the ball in the fairway was truly a necessity as the rough was a real challenge as a result of the recent rainy spell which promoted the growth to be longer and thicker that usual. finding errant shots and executing recovery shots were both difficult to achieve.
