Sweetwater Country Club
Played On 02/19/2024This course has great features
This golf course has a nice layout with varied hole designs. Houses are VERY close to the golf course in spots and the green structures were very inconsistent - turf was dead in a lot of places and very bumpy in spots. But despite the greens, the course was a lot of fun to play.

Twin Rivers Golf Club
Played On 07/21/2021Pretty good wet
Played after a heavy rain so it was cart path only. Made for a longer round. Also, not a great layout as far as green to tee. On some holes, it was a very long way from one to the next.

For a high handicapper this course isn’t bad for the fee - really interesting layout, but course conditions are suspect.
Ventura Country Club
Played On 08/14/2020Welcoming staff and a course that is very nicely maintained. Very enjoyable.
Mayfair Country Club
Played On 06/30/2020Good for fun
A late-afternoon round in Central Florida always brings the potential of thunderstorms, and this was no exception. Before our group had to quite on #15 we enjoyed a nice, simple layout and greens that were in pretty good shape but really slow! The clubhouse and surrounding facility was old and tired, but that was not an issue because of current social distancing.
Remington Golf Club

This isn’t the best-manicured golf course but as long as you know what you are paying for it can be an enjoyable round with friends.
Grand Cypress Golf Club - Links Course
Played On 01/21/2014Great for all golfers
This course was a lot of fun to play. Wide fairways and, virtually, no rough almost ensure you never have to spend unnecessary time looking for your ball - especially if you're inconsistent off the tee. Just beware of those deep bunkers and occasional water hazards. The links feel - shared greens, rolling hills and no trees - provides a different type of golf playing experience but still in Florida. The greens were in tremendous shape during my round and I never had to wait for the group ahead.
We are glad you enjoyed your round, and hope to see you again soon!
