Sweet Water Golf Course

It was the first time I played there. The wind was really howling and it’s still winter technically. I’ll review when next I play there.

White at Gilbertsville Golf Club
Played On 06/27/2020Let people play what nines they want to play...
They sell Group Golfer certificates and then when you show up with them they talk under their breath about ANOTHER Group Golfer. They wouldn't allow us to play the White & Blue nines which is why we bought the certificates. White & Red are OK but the Blue nine from the black tees offers the challenges we wanted. We like to course but felt like we were outcasts.

It wasn’t the course fault I couldn’t play today. It was in very nice shape, worth playing.

Sand traps need sand, rough needs cutting. Fairways great, greens fantastic.
Enjoyed the round with Rich
Nothing bad to say as the course was in pristine condition. GPS on cart was fantastic.I personally think the course rating/slope should be higher especially at sea level & the size of the greens. But it is what it is.

Started out as a single but Mark came up behind me & we had a wonderful day of golf. Greens were consistent & putting was a key to good round of golf. Really enjoyed the day.

I'm from PA & not a lover of Bermuda grass but Stoneybrook changed my mind somewhat becasue the fairways were so well manicured. When we return to the Fort Myers area I will return to Stoneybrook.

Good $$$ deal, pleasantly surprised. Maybe a little too easy from white tees for single digit handicappers but the wind was such, that it made sense to play them.

Glad we came there! Fairways are shorter grass than I normally play. Swing hard in the sand traps.
Magnolia Landing Golf & Country Club

Played 3 different Florida courses the week of 11/11/12. The greens were all VERY diffferent. One course held & was like putting through glue though. Magnolia's greens were hard & often I was putting from the back of the green. You have to have some course knowledge to score well at Magnolia. That said, I loved it & next time I am in SW Florida I will try again. Shot 85 but couda, shouda, wouda shot 79. Worth your time to play!
