River Club
Played On 10/31/2022Enjoyable Round
Good early morning round using Primetimes Card while in Myrtle Beach. 1st off and caught the last group on the morning wave on the 2nd 9, but still completed under 4 hrs. Course was very enjoyable. Winter overseed just starting to kick in. They are taking very good care of this course. Nice grouping with Willbrook and Tradtions. Worth the drive down to LItchfield to play. Starter and Proshop folks were very customer focused.
Panther's Run at Ocean Ridge Plantation
Played On 04/29/2022Conditions not good
Played only front 9 at Panthers Run. Look like winter overseeding was an issue. Lots of dead spots in tee boxes, fairways and rough. Greens were also in poor shape. Not worth the $55 we paid. Service & Clubhouse personnel were nice.
True Blue Golf Club
Played On 04/15/2021Expectations not met
For what we paid, $160,, the course did no match. Booked through recommendation of MB golf arranger. Tee Boxes, Fairways and Greens needed attention. The layout was good, but all grasses were need of watering. Lots of hardpan in chipping areas. Should have spent $40 more and played Caledonia
Arcadian Shores Golf Club
Played On 04/12/2021Beautiful Day in MB
Nice course. A little pricey for this type of course. (but that appears the going rate for this time of year down here)
Original MB layout. In the middle of everything but very nice semi-secluded layout. Great for average bogey player. Safe driver landing areas. Greens and Fairways were in very good condition. Rough still coming in and bunkers were below average. Pace of play was excellent even with a 9am Tee Time.
Deer Ridge Golf Club
Played On 07/17/2020Nice course between Cleveland and Columbus
Drove up from Columbus to meet some friends from Cleveland. Have played here about once a year for the last several years. Course was in very good condition. Still struggle on the last 3 holes on the front. Restaurant was very good also
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit to Panther's Run. You actually played during the transition period between winter rye and warm weather bermuda grass on the fairways, tees, etc. We have sprayed the winter rye out with herbicide to speed up the transition process. The courses will only be off color for a few days and then will rapidly green up as the bermuda will no longer be competing with the rye. We hope you will come visit us again and see our continued progress.
