Emerald Greens Golf Club
Played On 08/16/2014Good for short game practice
Played Emerald Greens (formerly known as Windsor Gardens) for the first time ever. Figured I'd give it a try when I was looking for a quick 9 to work on my short game. I didn't realize it was located smack-dab in the middle of a Senior Citizen retirement community, surrounded by their condo's/apartments! They don't bite or anything, but they do play slow, so even when I played two balls I had to wait on every tee. It's a good mix of easier holes and more challenging holes, and is very lush and green. There is a ton of goose droppings everywhere so watch your step. Took the full 90 minutes to get around, but when I finally finished I noticed the course was completely empty, so took advantage of the $7 replay rate to play another nine, and got around in half the time with no waiting, and scored much better.
