Decent but needs work

This could be a really nice course if they would invest in the greens which are rough around the edges. No. 8 green is almost dirt and minimal grass. The fairways are a challenge in some areas due to the trees that line them. Slow greens. Needs work but could be a nice short course to play if they would just invest in some nice greens and tee boxes.

Upside review

I'm going to post a positive review. This course is easy for new players. Playing the black tees adds some challenge for distance. Greens need some TLC. A couple greens suffered flooding damage a while back and are recovering. If you are someone new to the game this is a great course to practice on and try different clubs. The water is present but easily avoidable and sand traps are minimal. Also a great place to learn to play in the wind. Enjoy.

Good challenge but not unfair.

Green are challenging, sand traps were actually sand traps and not brick dirt. A couple holes you long hitters may want to avoid using driver so check the maps on the holes to see which ones have small streams crossing the fairways. I would recommend the course.

Good course if taken into perspective!

This course is what it is, a par 33 9 hole course with dual greens. The greens are large with seperated flags for the front and back nine. You may hit the green on your shots but if you dont hit to the correct flag you may be chipping from the green to the correct flags due to the shape and size of the green. The greens and fairways are in good shape considering the summer heat here in Texas! There are some good challenges to your game and yet its short enough for beginners and intermediate players to enjoy it. I would recommend this course for someone wanting to get in a round after work. The wind off the lake really comes into play which you have to take into consideration. I didnt eat there so I cant comment on the food.
